What do you do with a purse if you need to keep it close, but not necessarily on your lap or shoulder?
My biggest problem is a public bathroom. If you ever tried to hold on to your bag while putting your kid on a big potty, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I know, that is a very impressive list of places where you wish your purse had Clipa. It is designed especially for heavier bags and easily can hold up to 45 pounds. I haven't tested the weight personally, but I am pretty sure it can handle my purse/diaper bag.

I bought this in a small gift shop in SF after my other handbag hanger broke. I found this easy to use and I am hanging my purse everywhere with this. I found it on Amazon so I bought a few for gifts since I like it so much. I have had mine for over a year and it still works well.

What can't this do? I have found this clip/purse hook incredibly useful
I have worn this as a bracelet
I have used it to hang my purse on the ladies room stall door
I have used it to hang my purse AND shopping bags on counter at the public restroom sink
I have hung my purse next to me at the restaurant
I have hung my my diaper bag on the shopping cart
I have hung my backpack on a clothes rod
It is very well deigned -it even has a clear rubber (silicone?) grips at the ends where the clipa might come in contact with a table or ledge so it won't mar the surface. They thought of everything! And it has not chipped or discolored even though I have given it a beating. I got the color to match my purse and I get lots of compliments and "where did you get that?" from passerby's.

This is one of those things that after you have it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. I use mine at the movies, to attach my bag to the seat in front of me. No more setting it down on the folded seat next to me and having it slip through to the grungy floor. No more going into a public restroom and having to hold my bag in my lap because there's no hook on the door. If I am eating at a restaurant with no seat to put my bag on, I can just hang it from the edge of the table.
I bought a bunch of these to give as little holiday gifts for coworkers, friends, and family. They make a great stocking stuffer. I love that these are made in the USA too.
