I own so many purses, but this is a definite favorite! It's my Go-To bag for a normal day, as it holds everything I want and need to carry with me, including two huge wraparound pockets perfect for slipping my iPhone and a lotion on one side, and my Thermos Intak water bottle in the other side. If you're like me, you end up carrying stuff for your whole family in your purse. It's not much, a piece or so, but it all adds up! I'm a very "compartmentalized" type of person. Everything has a place and it should always be returned to the place after use. It has a huge zipped pocket on the back inside of the purse, the 2 wraparound pockets outside, and 3 slip in pockets on the inside front of the purse. I also use a Kangaroo Keeper (the large one works for most of my purses), so pens, checkbook, vitamins and meds, lip gloss, Tide-to-Go pen, perfume, strap to my Brighton black leopard case for my iPhone and iPod case, iPod cable, flash drive, Moleskine planner, Staedtler TriPlus Fineliners in the case, lotion, antibac gel and spray, cleaning cloths, and many other things are inside with my keys clipped to the key clip, so the pockets on the inside of the purse just hold larger items, like my makeup bag, wallet, and iPod slap band and such.
This purse, unlike most "totes", zips on the top. That's a big plus, since it holds so much that if it gets up-ended, you'll spend a substantial amount of time putting everything back where it goes.

I needed a versatile bag to carry on that would fit well under the seat in front of me on the small regional jets (CRJs and Embraer 135/145s), which will accommodate a bag only of no more than 15 inches x 10 inches x 11 inches. I sit most often on the one seat side of the Embraers, and there is no overhead bin on that side. I have this bag in both Pirouette and in Purple Punch. The latter matches my rolling duffel from Vera. This bag easily fits that underseat space, has 6 slip-in inside pockets to keep my cell phone, Ipod, etc organized. It also has planty of room in the main compartment for brush, netbook or IPAD, kindle, full size wallet, small digital camera and much more. My only issue is that it does not have a strap long enough to use this as a crossbody. I am not sure how adding such a strap would look, but it would have been handy on a recent trip abroad where I traveled for more than 30 hours straight with several plane changes. As that trip began with a flight on the small Embraer, the bag's dimensions were critical to carry all my electronics and fit under that seat in front of me. (The Villager style from Vera Bradley is a nice size as well, for when I am not carrying quite as mich on board.)

I gave this to my sister for her birthday and she loved it. She had never heard of Vera Bradley before. She's a nurse and this bag was great to carry all the things that she needed for her work day and then some.

It's beautiful, it's roomy, and it's comfortable to carry around.
All my belongings fit perfectly and it's the perfect size for work. If I need to bring my laptop to work, I can fit it in too.
The pattern is gorgeous!! I got a lot of compliments on the bag.
I would highly recommend it!!!
